We live in Ohio, and we got hit with 60+ mph winds Sunday afternoon. We lost our power, there's tons of trees still down, schools were closed, basically, it was the end of the world. Our power company had over 200,000 customers without power, and there's still about 100,000 that don't have power yet. We went and stayed the night at my grandparents' house, and we just got our power back on late last night. So we're home, and I think Matt's parents are going to come and stay with us for today since they still don't have their power either.

Hooray for electricity!
I caught my roommates and their buddies smoking pot. I called the police at 11:15, and the police officer just left 5 minutes ago. The two guys that brought it are banned from campus housing, my roommates and I have to go talk to judicial services to tell our sides. Since I was the reporting party, I am not in trouble of any kind. I am also protected if one of them decides to retaliate in any way. If they do, they get moved out of this apartment and into another building. They could also be evicted and banned from housing, lose their scholarships, financial aid, everything. I did not tell them I was calling the police because my brother's friends used to come to our house and do dope, and when I confronted them, I was threatened with bodily injury. So I don't take chances.

Can't this day just be over?
