I just scared myself silly tonight watching Dr. Who. It was the episode where the Weeping Angels come. Holy cow, I was so. scared. It was a great episode, but I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight.

Also, I haven't seen HP OotP yet. Matt and I will probably see it after I get back on Tuesday. We may have to go on Thursday/Friday because that's the only time we can both go.

I've been scheduled to work until 4:30 on the day HP 7 comes out. If I get scheduled on Sunday, I will be pissed. That is all.
Papaw's surgery went really well today. He should be home tomorrow afternoon.

American Gods was...interesting. I think I may need to read it with Wikipedia open the next time so I can look up obscure references.

I should not be this awake either. I got up at 7 to be at the hospital early, and I didn't sleep very well last night because it got so hot in the bedroom. I hate not having central air. When we got home from the hospital at 2, I came within 100 pages of finishing American Gods and then fell asleep for 2.5 hours. I must have slept really deeply and really hard, because Matt said I looked like shit when I finally woke up. Ugh. And now, it's 1130 and Matt has to be up at 830 so he can be at work in the morning, which means I'll be up then too. And since I'm wide awake, I probably won't fall asleep until 2 or 3. /whine
--Write 704 paper (6 pages)
--Write 702 paper (10 pages)
--Grade 102 portfolios

Nana and Papaw are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday. They're having a party then, and all of us are going to help facilitate. It'll be fun, but it means that I've lost an entire weekend to work on my 702 paper since I'll be gone all day Sunday and Saturday for Matt's grandma's/dad's birthday celebration.

My Beats class went to Dr. Guthrie's house last night for food, wine, and paper presentations. I was rather nervous about how I did, and was a little disappointed to learn that he hadn't graded them yet. What he did last night, though, was rather neat. He sat us down and read our papers aloud, giving us verbal commentary as he went. It was really cool to see how he thinks as he's grading; it was a good way to gain some insight into the professorial mindset. From what he said to me, I think I may have managed to get an A, but I'll see what I got later this week.

I feel like Eowyn looks in my icon: tired, in despair of getting this quarter done and over with, in love, and wanting a cuddle right about now. Matt's at work right now, so I have to wait on the cuddle until 10:15 or so.

Still need to go job hunting for the summer. I haven't the time to go hunting yet, but I know of some places that are hiring. I may go apply on Friday or Monday, depending upon how much of my work I've gotten done.
School:

-Read for 702
-Write 702 paper
-Write summary for 704
-Add Alison's summary, email to Karen
-Write 704 response
-Read sources for 730 paper
-Write proposal for 730
-Grade reports by Wed.?

Home:

-Clean bathroom
-Vacuum
-Sweep kitchen floor
-Trash
-Dishes? Unless Matt does them first
Matt and I went up to Sinclair yesterday and walked around being nosy looking at where his classrooms would be, etc. Some of the buildings are actually really neat and very modern looking (including the one his classes are in), and then some are just drab and dingy. The dingy ones have nothing on the walls, no special lighting, just concrete and fire doors for the classrooms and offices. Ick. Anyway, most of the buildings are really nice, but both of us like Wright State soooo much better. We both wish WSU had a culinary program, but it's one of the few things they don't offer.

No ring shopping yesterday. I'm aiming now for Friday, but Phil's going to be in town, so unless we go early, we won't get to go this week.

My to-do list for Spring Break is slowly shrinking. Most of the wedding stuff isn't getting done >.< but quite a bit of my school and "other" are. Doing laundry and class planning today, along with doing some reading for my classes next quarter and watching FotR. Haven't watched that one in forever.

I'm still waiting for one of my grades to get posted. I got an A in my Fiction Writing seminar, but the frade for the class I'm a wee tiny bit worried about, my Old English Language and Lit class, hasn't been posted. Grrr. I relaly hope my paper was fine. I had an A before the final paper, but I have no idea how well I did on it.

I'm getting a little worried about my 102 class roster. Rich told us that the Registrar was going to automatically boot anyone who got a D or F in 101 from 102, but it doesn't look like it happened yet. Either that, or my entire class passed 101.

Umm...oh yeah! I got my taxes done yesterday. Took 2 hours!!! I was self-employed for part of the year last year, and I had no clue how to do file that on the tax forms. I swear tax forms are written in Pig Latin, and then translated to Greek. Anyway, I did get a $340 refund, so whoo! I only owed a small amount to the State, so everything worked out well.
1 more day of class!!!

Beth is coming tomorrow night! She's staying the night here and leaving around noon on Friday. I am so excited--I haven't seen her since June of last year.

It's also nice that I only have to have 3 pages of my paper done for our workshop tomorrow. I still really haven't done anything on it, but since she basically gave us our paper and what to write, it won't be that hard. I just have to get the motivation to do it.

To do list for Monday/Tuesday:

693:
--Write responses for Mon.
--Write personal craft annotation

610:
--Write final paper Almost there: 1 more bullet point to answer and then incoporate 2 more sources

101:
--Grade Final Ports.
--Enter grades
We've finally almost finished moving. His desk is still over here in our old apartment. I'm so glad that we only moved across the hall--it made moving so much easier. My landlady came over tonight (they had to repair the water heater) and she started complaining that we hadn't moved the desk yet. I bit my tongue about getting things out in a timely manner because we found out on Thursday that we could move in. For the two of us only being off together on Friday and me moving everything else on my own Sat. & Sun., she's lucky we got so much moved on such short notice. I reminded her that I work 2 jobs and am gone all day, and she shut up pretty quickly after that.

To do list for me (things I have to do before the end of the quarter in less than 2 weeks)

693:
--Write responses for Wed, Mon, Wed, Mon.
--Write personal craft annotation
