Tai Chi makes my knees KILL omgwtf. Owie owie owie. I told my instructor after class that I'd blown out my left knee and it still bothered me to have to put weight on it/bend it etc. He said that was fine. Our final is a practical, which means we learn a 108 pose sequence and then do it all by our lonesome, hopefully not in front of the class but I have a sneaking suspicion that it will be.

My instructor did the 108 pose sequence right at the end of class and omg so cool. The entire class was like O_O the whole time. Methinks I need to start up yoga again so that I can actually relax enough to do this. Either that or I need to study my book and try to learn a wee bit on my own. I get so tense and nervous in front of people in any kind of physical activity that it makes me forget to breathe and such. Not fun. Although I must say thank you marching band because I can balance and walk with the best of them. A lot of people had trouble doing the Tai Chi walk, which is basically bringing your knees together and then lifting one waist high and then roll stepping through. It was the exact same exercise that we did for band to improve balance and roll stepping. Of the things we did tonight, that was the thing I did the best.
